The DC Service Bar worker reportedly asked the man to leave the U Street bar late on Saturday night, Nov. 11, after the two got into an argument and he became disorderly, DC police said.

Moments later, he can be seen smacking her in the face with an open palm, as he walks to the door

In the video, the man can be seen walking out of the bar before winding up and smacking the woman with an open hand while others in the area exclaimed their shock.

"We thought he hit the metal beam initially because it was so loud," one commenter posted. "Did not expect him to strike our employee."

The bar owners believe they may have identified the man, and his information has been shared with the Metropolitan Police Department.

"The individual pictured was involved in an incident captured in the video shown here," they posted on Instagram. "This person is no longer welcome at any of our establishments."
